National Implementation Plan (NIP) for the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP)

The NIP provides an operational framework for securing appropriate resources to carry out the
tasks or mechanisms for action on POPs. Ultimately, the NIP serves as a basis for monitoring the
Marshall Islands’ progress in addressing the POPs issue, and the effectiveness of the actions it has
committed to for reducing or eliminating POPs use and release to the environment.
