Formerly know as the Office of Environmental Planning and Policy Coordination, the Climate Change Directorate has been charged to lead Climate Change work in the Republic.
The Oceanic Division at the Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority is responsible for managing and regulating the offshore fisheries operations in the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
The Coastal Division at the Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority is responsible for providing technical assistance to the communities with establishing fisheries management plans, research and assessments and also serves as advisory and regulatory body.
